Possum Room

In the Possum Room we provide a happy, secure and inclusive environment, building on children’s potential. We promote consistent daily routines which include self-help skills, hygiene practices, friendships, independence, literacy and numeracy in fun and engaging ways.

Experienced Educators embed programs that enhance children’s independence and are based on a balance of children’s interests and life learning skills. We promote learning for the whole child which significantly influences children’s identities, wellbeing, communication, confidence and promotes a strong connection to our world.

Children are observed through documentation cycles. Through these observations Educators can gauge where a child is in their developmental journey and create specific experiences to stimulate areas of development.
